Muvhango's KK auditions for Generations

Whoa! Now here's something we didn't see coming. Muvhango actor MacDonald Ndou has auditioned for a role on Generations.

The actor, who plays KK on the SABC 2 soapie, is reportedly waiting for a response from Mfundi Vundla. Sunday World reported that KK was earmarked for a Tshivenda-speaking character, which was being discussed among producers. A source in the production team told the paper: "MacDonald is a definite yes because he is part of Mfundi's new strategy to give people a reason to watch the soapie."

MacDonald confirmed that he auditioned and said he was awaiting a response. "I haven't received a call from them yet," he told the paper. He added: "I can't say that I will be leaving [Muvhango] now as everything will be decided by the call from Generations. That's when I will decide to leave them."
