The world of showbiz doesn't always come with just glitz and glamour.

Muvhango actress Liteboho Molise has been taunted on social media for her on-screen character's behaviour and low morals.

Liteboho plays the Thate mayor's wife, Teboho. The actress told Sunday World that she has to deal with the people's distaste for her character.

She's even been called nasty names on social media as people fail to realise that she's far from her on-screen counterpart.

"There isn't much I can do but ignore them. I'm not what people think. It becomes difficult when they meet you in the street and give you attitude," she told the paper.
