Well, actress Phindile Gwala took the plunge by signing up for swimming lessons.
Phindile posted a snap of her very first swimming lesson on Instagram.
And, even though she looked like a duck out of water, it's only a matter of time before she's doing laps.
We're sure the lessons are going to pay off when she hits the ocean this summer.
