Johannesburg - They say acting is a risky business, but nobody told that to Muvhango actress, Phuti Khomo!
The actress is not only a shining star on the popular soapie (playing the role of Carol on the show) but a superstar on the casino tables too.
In fact, she's such a pro at gambling, that she'll soon be participating in the World Poker Tournament at Emperors Palace at the end of the month!
Talking to Sowetan recently, Phuti reveals that she can sometimes make up to R280 000 a night playing poker!
"It is very costly and the money has to come from my own pocket," Phuti reveals. "There are no sponsors for me. I play twice a month. It's really a great feeling," she adds.
Phuti says she started getting into poker after seeing it on TV, and even though she might spend hours in smoky rooms, she's not addicted to gambling- only to winning!
And she hopes to win when the tournament comes around.
