Johannesburg - Fans of SA soul/groove band, Muzart are gearing up to see their heroes at the Dstv Delicious Food and Music Festival this weekend.
But before the hungry fans get to them, The Juice caught up with Muzart’s Sol "Stringer" Mosetle to talk about the band's upcoming projects and possible collaborations.
With their unique sound Muzart have worked with the likes of HHP, AKA, DJ Kent, The Muffinz, Jubu Hotstix Mabuse and even Dr Malinga.
So, is there anyone else the band would like to work with?
“We’ve been performing with Khuli Chana lately, but we all kind of have our own idea of who we would like,” Sol says.
“I would like to work with Goldfish and I know some in the band would love to work with Mi Casa. So hopefully in the future, we will be releasing some new material with one of these two,” he adds
Despite this, Sol says the band feels no pressure to release a follow up to their successful self-titled debut album.
“I know it’s been a while, but we still trying to get some more exposure for our singles off our first album. But we are working in studio for the upcoming album,” he says.
“There’s no real pressure for us because our music is a bit different from anyone else’s. We want to do it proper and so we're going to take our time on it,“ he reveals.
Well, let’s just hope they don’t take too long! We're getting hungry!
