NPA files appeal in the Oscar Pistorius case

The NPA has filed its applications for leave to appeal in the Oscar Pistorius case - one on conviction and one on the sentence.

As previously reported, the NPA is in essence questioning whether Dolus Eventualis was correctly applied.

The NPA has been highly critical of Judge Masipa dismissing circumstantial evidence and relying only on Oscar's version of events.

The organisation has also said it would like the appeals to be heard in the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein.
