Nandi Mngoma gives back to her old school

Johannesburg- Actress, singer and fashionista Nandi Mngoma was honoured to go back to her high school to speak to the pupils there.

Nandi and her sister, Langa were invited by their old school, Danville Park Girls' High in Durban, to go back and speak to the girls.

Nandi was also honoured to receive the Good Fellowship award from the school. She says it will be a day she will never forget.

"No matter how many awards I may receive in my lifetime I will always be most proudest of this one, as it is an honour and humbling to know that I made my peers feel good," Nandi wrote on Instagram.

#Inspiring!

This is my drama teacher Mrs Goddard Gill who always encouraged my talents in Drama and music. In Highschool I used to play piano for our school hymns, sang at Gateway, was a presenter for a kids show on SABC 2 called Bling and was fortunate to win Miss Danville??. And as much as I'm glad I get to do what I love and excel in. My biggest achievement was being awarded the Good Fellowship award which the whole school voted me for. That was (like some of my school peers used to say The Nice Girl award lol!), but it meant that one had good interpersonal skills and moral courage. No matter how many awards I may receive in my lifetime I will always be most proudest of this one, as it is an honour and humbling to know that I made my peers feel good. I hope to continue to do that in my lifetime. PS: Proud of my younger sister @LangaMngoma #Education #Life #LifeLessons #NextChapter #Next10years
