Nandi Mngoma opens up about her album plans

Johannesburg - After the success of her track Skhanda Love with K.O and the release this week of her most recent single with Zakes Bantwini Dance, fans can't help but ask when we'll be getting an album from Nandi Mngoma.

“I’m just trying to see the landscape of music in South Africa and try to understand it. I've had such success with K.O on Skhanda Love and it’s been amazing!” Nandi told us when we caught up with her recently. 

And although she’s working hard to promote her upcoming single, she says a full album is definitely on the cards.

“I will be dropping an album, but first I have a few singles to release and then we’ll see. I want it to be natural”, she says.

She says the album will center on African queens and their experiences. 

“I want it to be about African queens and celebrating African queens,” she says.
