Nastee Nev has gone gold! And he did it without any beef or social media shenanigans.
The deep house artist has been a staple part of the SA house music scene pretty much since 2002 and his latest album, 0808 Sweetsoul, officially went gold this week.
He had a chat with Unathi this week about the success of the album and broke down crying with gratitude on air. Shame.
She wrote about the encounter "A GROWN MAN in tears SOUTH AFRICA because you made him go Gold by buying his CD! Nastee Nev speechless as @glenzito tells him. This is what it means to US when you support us and believe in us. Please don't stop buying SA music!"
Soon after he took to Facebook to leave his fans a thank you message: "I would like to take this opportunity to Thank The Almighty God for everything He's Done 4 Me, To Everyone Who supported, Stood by my side & Believed in me BIG THANK YOUUUUUU. Nastee Nev is not an individual, it's a Team and a strong one, today we have proven that Team Nastee Nev is a hard dedicated working Team that believed and with Almight God on our side anything is possible 0808 Sweetsoul Album sold GOLD all because of Team Work and Believing."
