Johannesburg – It may be a leap year, but that hasn’t stopped the guys from making the first move and popping the question. And boy, are these men romantic!

1. Karlien van Jaarsveld & Joe Breytenbach
Karlien van Jaarsveld announced her engagement to former rugby player Joe Breytenbach on Instagram. At the time of the announcement the two were on vacation in Mozambique.
2. Clint Brink & Steffi van Wyk
In an interview on Touch Central, Clint spoke about how he met Steffi. After only knowing each other for a couple of months the two became engaged, and one month later, got married. According to sources Clint serenaded Steffi before getting down on one knee.
3. Phat Joe & Palesa Morgan
Probably one of the cutest proposals we’ve ever seen, radio/TV personality, Phat Joe, proposed to his girlfriend with the use of a “draw my life” style video. Check it out below.
4. Robert Marawa & Pearl Thusi
Okay, so these two have still not made their relationship public, but we all know they’re a thing, right? In an interview with Anele, Robert spoke about how he popped the question to his bae.
