5 budding actors to watch out for in 2020

Cape Town - It is almost impossible to tell what they do on screen is a job.
With many going through the hustle and bustle of countless fruitless auditions, theses five faces have broken into the industry and made viewers take notice,
We take a look at some of the new faces who have graced our screens in 2019.
1. Tshimollo Modupe
She made her acting debut on Scandal and just six months later was starring alongside her father, Kagiso Modupe, in her first movie gig, Losing Lerato.
Being just eight-years-old when the film was shot, the 9-year-old is a natural born star.
2. Paballo Koza
Most known for his role on SABC 2 drama Thola, Paballo is a young man securing his place in the industry.
The 17-year-old has been seen on multiple soapies including Rhythm City, Mzansi Magic’s The Queen and Housekeepers alongside Thando Thabethe. He also featured in the 2016 SA film, Dora’s Peace, alongside seasoned actors like Khabonina Qubeka and Hlubi Mboya.
3. Tshiamo Molobi
Here’s another young man on his way to being a household name.
The 16-year-old has been seen in movies such as, Happiness is a Four-Letter Word, Pad Na Jou Hart and has dominated drama screens as well.
He has been quite the one to watch out for on The Queen, Rhythm City and made his debut on MTV’s Shuga Down South this year as well.
4. Bongi Dlamini
Who can forget her role as little Dineo on Rhythm City earlier this year and her moving prayer scene for her thug brother before her end. It was her death which set social media ablaze with some calling it callous and sensationalised.
Bongi sure did make her mark and left an indelible impression on viewers, we can’t wait to see what she gets up to next.
5. Siyabonga Mtshali
Siyabonga is a budding actor showing his strides on Rhythm City. He is nothing short of talent and his character development, portraying Dumisani, on the e.tv drama has proved just how far his talent stretches.
From protective brother to a gang member, he can do it all. You might have also seen him starring alongside Nomsa Buthelezi on the SA hero film, Supermama.
