Cape Town - 6 local celebrities take on the role of cover star for South Africa's most popular magazine titles in November. 

From celebrity chefs to TV hosts and stylists - there are plenty of well-known faces to keep an eye out for, as well as fabulous articles for everyone.

1. Lorna Maseko (True Love)

TV personality and celebrity chef Lorna Maseko graces the cover of True Love

Unveiling the beautiful cover on Instagram on Monday, the 35-year-old calls the reveal: "The hardest secret I've had to keep." 

Lorna looks elegant in a white, gold and black formfitting dress, and the magazine leads with the cover line: A girl misunderstood. (Read more here

2. Unathi, Roxy Burger (Glamour) 

Idols SA judge Unathi Nkayi and How Do I Looks SA host, Roxy Burger grab our attention in similar red dresses, and matching braids on the cover of Glamour.

The November issue of the women's magazine is called the Powered by Women issue. 

Sharing the cover image in Instagram, Roxy mentions what an honour it is to share the space with Unathi, calling the singer: "an incredible broadcaster, an inspiring mother and an insatiable woman."

3. Thuso Mbedu (Bona)

Local Emmy-nominated actress Thuso Mbedu strikes four different poses for the November issues of Bona Magazine.

The magazine is published in English, isiXhosa, isiZulu and Ya Sesotho.

Posting the news of the cover on Instagram, Bona writes: "She [Thuso] chats to us about her apprehensions regarding the entertainment industry, and her plans for the future." 

4. Amalia Uys (Sarie)

Former 7de Laan actress Amalia Uys rocks a bold neck piece on the November cover of Sarie

According to an Instagram post shared by the Afrikaans magazine, the red-haired beauty will be talking about married life, new projects and her adventures in Cape Town.

Amalia's look is effortlessly chic, as she wears a black blazer, paired with smokey eye makeup.

5. Trevor Stuurman (GQ Style)

Local visual artist Trevor Stuurman is super-cool in a zebra pint inspired look on the GQ Style's Spring/Summer 2018 cover.

Posting the cover on Instagram, Trevor writes: "Proud to present the cover of my dreams."

The unique cover uses lighting techniques and contracting colours to create an artsy look that we're really into. 

6. Refilwe Mabote, Nti Ramaboa (Destiny)

Destiny magazine pulled out all the stops for their November issue, featuring stylist Kefilwe Mabote and chef, Nti Ramaboa.

The duo pose together on the cover, wearing bold prints.  

"Shared so many beautiful memories together over the years chomi @kefilwe_mabote ; so proud to share the @destinyconnect cover with you. Fam," Nti wrote on Instagram.

The November issue is called: "Power of 40."
