We can’t keep up with the beefs rapper AKA has been involved in – from smacking Cassper Nyovest on the back of his head at the South African Hip Hop Awards in 2016 to his argument with rapper iFani after AKA claimed iFani had bought his gold status for his album, I Believe in Me.

Then there’s the alleged beef with Somizi last year, his long-standing tiff with rapper L-Tido and his fallout with Black Coffee after the DJ smacked AKA’s manager at the DStv iRock Music Festival in Limpopo.

Still it came as a shock when AKA parted ways with his 25-year-old producer, Tumelo “Tweezy” Mathebula. Tweezy was behind the hits Run Jozi, Sim Dope and All Eyes on Me. Tweezy hit up social media to rant about being the brains behind AKA’s most popular songs, which led to a twar with the rapper.

AKA promised to “smack the sh&@t out” Tweezy the next time he saw him. They then parted ways.

Fast-forward to AKA’s new album set to drop next year, and the two have has set their differences aside and are working together again. Check out a snippet of their latest song in the making.
