Music producer Matthew Knowles recently claimed that his daughter Beyoncé and singer Kelly Rowland were harassed by former R&B group, Jagged Edge, members when they were teens.
He alleged this in a recent interview on Vlad TV.
In the interview, Matthew said two members of the group – which he didn’t identify – sexually harassed Beyoncé and Kelly on a bus tour. The incident allegedly happened in the early 2000s when the two groups were on a joint tour.
“Now remember the girls are minors. They are 16-year-olds, the guys are 21 and 22-year-olds. I have a fiduciary duty with the minors, by the law, there’s a certain way I have to manage that,” he said.
“I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé... saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members in Jagged Edge, I couldn't have that. I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, LA,” he claimed.

He remarried shortly after but Beyoncé and Solange did not attend the wedding.

Beyoncé expressed how she felt about what happened in her song Daddy Issues from the album Lemonade. The lyrics explain that her dad taught her to be tough and not trust men like him, Yahoo entertainment reported.
Neither Beyoncé or Kelly Rowland have spoken out about the abuse allegations claimed by Matthew Knowles yet.
