In a recent tell-all interview, US rapper Cardi B revealed the reason why she decided to get back together with her cheating husband, Offset.
Speaking to Vogue, the Press hit-maker shared how she attempted to save her marriage by praying and getting priests to come to her home to help her and her husband learn how to forgive.
“Everybody has issues. I believe in forgiveness. I prayed on it. Me and my husband, we prayed on it. We had priests come to us. And we just came to an understanding like, bro, it’s really us against the world,” she said in the 2020 issue where she and her daughter are the cover stars.

Cardi also spoke about how social media has put her relationship under scrutiny following Offset’s cheating scandals.
“When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me,” Cardi explained.
“But it’s real-life sh*t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation. Then, if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years, when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open. That’s including everything,” she continued.
The pair’s romance has been dogged by cheating scandals since they got engaged in October 2017. Just months after getting engaged, an explicit video of Offset allegedly engaging in sexual activities with another woman went viral on Twitter. In December 2018, Cardi announced her split from the rapper but got back with him in January 2019 where she revealed that she wanted to work on their marriage.

After Offset’s on-stage apology and him begging her to take him back, one would think that Offset would change his ways. But the Migos rapper was recently slammed for sending “flirty” texts to his ex-mistress. Luckily for him Cardi came to his defence by saying that Offset’s social media accounts were hacked.
