They’ve featured alongside local hitmakers Tipcee, Busiswa and Babes Wodumo, and now the gqom duo will be flying the South African flag high in Spain.
After receiving positive feedback in the SA music industry, talented duo Distruction Boyz will perform internationally at Sónar music festival in Barcelona in June after receiving an invite by US music producer Diplo.
“We were invited by Diplo, we received the invite to perform in Barcelona about a month ago and we are performing on the 15th of June, but we are leaving two days before the actual event,” they told DRUM.
The talented duo told DRUM this has been one of their goals all along and it’s why they’ve consistently kept on working hard. They added that they’re appreciative of the opportunities they’ve received recently because this has always been their dream.
“We are very happy. It’s been a long time coming and we have worked very hard in the past couple of years. We’re very grateful for all the blessings that we have been receiving,” they said.
