Johannesburg - In a recent interview with LeBron James and Maverick Carter on the new HBO Sports series The Shop, rapper Drake opened up about what happened between him, Kanye West and Pusha T.

Drake detailed the story of his messy feud with Pusha-T and West, which he describes as "a hell of a chess move" that went way too far.

The Toronto MC says he ultimately blames Kanye for inciting Pusha-T's Infrared and The Story of Adidon diss tracks, the latter of which exposed that Drizzy fathered a child with an adult film star, Billboard reports.

“I knew something was gonna come up about my kid. They had to add the deadbeat dad thing to make it more appealing,” Drake said in the interview. But that didn’t upset him because he expected it.

What did upset him, however, was when Pusha T “wished death upon” his friend and producer, Noah “40” Shebib, who has multiple sclerosis.

“Now when you mention defenceless people who are sick in hospital that passed away, that really sent me to a place where, you know, I just believed then and believe now that there’s a price you need to pay for that. It’s over, someone’s going to f****n punch you in the f****n face.”

So he wrote a diss track in response to Push T, saying "terrible things" about him and Kanye West, because Drake blames Kanye for what Pusha said about him.

Drake claims the feud started after he shared private information about his "secret" son and plans to release his chart-topping Scorpion album while working with Kanye during a recording session.

“I’m in Wyoming. I play him March 14. I send him a picture of my son. I tell him I’m having trouble with my son’s mother,” says Drake, who planned on revealing that he had a son on the March 14 track.”

Drake also believes Kanye intentionally planned to drop G.O.O.D. Music's five recent releases (from Pusha-T, West, Nas, Kids See Ghosts, and Teyana Taylor) to coincide with the release of his latest album, Scorpion.

But apart from the beef, Drake is thrilled to be a father and says his son has “crazy blue eyes”:

“I have a son, he's a beautiful boy. You know he's already in the pool like shooting the basketball," the rapper continued. "He's gonna get to a certain age, I'm gonna bring him right to 'Bron's house and I'ma be like, 'Yo, summer camp at Bronny's house!”
