Metro FM recently announced their revamped line-up and while some big names have left the station, new and exciting voices have been added – including popular TV personality, Moshe Ndiki.

Following Masechaba Ndlovu’s controversial exit from The Drive show, Moshe will be the show’s new contributor alongside host, Mo Flava.

According to a statement, Moshe will be “bringing the station’s listeners his take on ‘the past week’s news’ every Friday on The Drive” by discussing news topics that made headlines during that week.

Another exciting addition includes that of former 702 presenter, Relebogile Mabotja who will be replacing Somizi on  the Fresh Breakfast as Somizi moves to the station’s #TheBridge team – which airs directly after Fresh Breakfast.

The station’s changes evoked a lot of different emotions from listeners. While some were excited to see their favourites, others felt that the station was hiring people based on popularity and not giving media graduates an opportunity which sparked another #OpenUpTheIndustry debate.

Take a look at people’s reactions below.
