Cape Town - DRUM has learnt that Idol's finalist Mthokozisi Ndaba's fiancée Nandipha Sefoloko is currently in labour.
Nandipha formerly played Sasa on Mzansi Magic prison drama, Lockdown.
During a telephonic interview with Drum, Mthokozisi confirmed the news that the actress is about to give birth to their first child together.
“Nandipha is going into labour right now. I am rushing to her, I can’t speak,” he told said.
The couple have been together for two years.
"Nandipha has been my rock and has supported me through everything that I have been through. I can't thank her enough and I cannot wait to take this next step with her,” he said.
The couple have been together for two years, but they only went social media in February this year.
This moment is especially special for the former Idol's contestant as he lost a child in 2013. His baby Ntandoyenkosi died shortly after his birth.
And then they started wearing matching outfits or snaps of them cuddling in bed.
In May they announced that they were pregnant however, they decided to not know the gender of the baby until it’s born.
This month the pair released new music. Mthokozisi dropped Nikita featuring Duncan, Unyazi and Muguai. Nandipha released her single, Pringles and both songs are already receiving airplay.
