Mshoza’s new husband, Thuthukani Mvula, definitely knows how to keep his wife happy. This weekend the newly-weds celebrated Mshoza’s birthday for the first time as Mr and Mrs Mvula.
The Abantu Bam hit-maker took to Instagram to share how her hubby planned and pulled off her birthday weekend without her knowledge. “So my husband planned my birthday weekend so well and I didn't even suspect a thing #helicopterride #horseridding ett. I'm blessed beyond,” she said on social media.
Speaking to DRUM, Mshoza explains how she was whisked off to the Drakensberg. “My birthday was yesterday (Sunday) but we started celebrating it on Friday.
My
husband took me to the Drakensberg where we went on a helicopter ride, had a
spa date, went hiking in the mountain and also did horse riding,” a beaming
Mshoza said.
“On Saturday night he took me out for dinner at a restaurant where everyone had been told about my birthday and they all sang for me. It was beautiful,” she said.
In November last year Mshoza married Ladysmith businessman Thuthukani in a traditional ceremony.
The lovebirds planned to officially tie the knot next month, but Thuthukani’s first wife, Duduzile, says there will be no wedding until she gets a house for herself and their two children.
Thuthukani insists he’s agreed to her terms – but she’s still not signing the divorce papers. When DRUM asked whether Duduzile had finally agreed to sign the divorce papers, Mshoza explained how the issue didn’t bother her. “I don’t know and I don’t care about what Dudu does. My husband is the one who is dealing with all of that but we are very happy,” she said.
