Most of us struggle with breakouts on our skin from time to time and singer Lady Zamar was quick to put trolls in their place when they dragged her for her acne.
It all began when popular DJ, Prince Kaybee posted a picture of himself and the singer in studio where he commended her talent.

Instead of focusing on the DJ’s message, trolls were quick to point out that ‘something was wrong’ with Lady Zamar’s face while some gave her unwelcome advice on which products to use.

The Collide hit-maker did not take kindly to this and addressed the trolls in a long thread where she clarified how she would not tolerate cyberbullying and how some people had committed suicide because of it.
“You guys need to understand that what you say from the comfort of your beds and homes is about someone.. haven’t y’all learnt the power of words yet? A singer just committed suicide the other day coz of body issues.. another girl committed suicide coz of her acne ..,” she began.
“I keep quiet a lot in a lot if these dumb issues ppl bring up about me or involving me coz frankly in many ways they don’t matter in the scope of my career, my passions and my desires... but this matters to me.. A LOT. People are dying, people are committing suicide because of these kinda issues and I’ll be damned if I let another stupid comment slide. I love my life, secret or not, public or not but I wake up every day to myself.. Don’t insult me by giving me advice I’ve got ppl for that,” she continued.

The singer also explained how she was already seeing a dermatologist about her condition and that people shouldn’t expect her to hide how she looks currently.
“There’s God, my family, my friends, my colleagues , my dermatologist and my mirror for that... Whatever reason I have acne, I have acne.. I’m not gon hide it, or walk around ashamed coz of it, it’s a phase it will pass and I’m not gon take your cyber bullying lying down,” she wrote before telling people to stop cyberbullying others.

While some fans sympathized with the singer and advised her to ignore the trolls, fellow musicians Prince Kaybee as well as Rouge condemned the cyberbullying.
Posted a pic of me and @Lady_Zamar yesterday and it breaks my heart that we ignore people's gifts only to highlight their imperfections like we are anywhere near perfect ourselves ??

It is not the first time that the singer has been cyberbullied, in 2018 she found herself being scrutinized for her fashion choices by online trolls.
