Local celebs who’ve travelled during the coronavirus outbreak

As the days of summer begin to slowly fade out and make way for autumn, some of our local celebrities are chasing the sun in foreign countries – despite the risk of contracting Covid-19.

While some of them have posted their preventative methods, such as wearing masks and gloves at the airport or using private jets to fly around, others seem to be enjoying their holidays.

Here’s a list of 5 local celebs who’ve travelled abroad amid the coronavirus scare.

1.       Holly Rey

 

 

The musician recently posted a picture of herself at an airport wearing a mask. When concerned fans noted her bravery, she responded with a confident: “If we die, we die.”

 

 

2.       Nomzamo Mbatha

 

Nomzamo recently took her mother on her first international trip in the city of Istanbul in Turkey. The actress also revealed that the two would be travelling to more destinations. We hope they’ll be safe!

3.       Tamaryn Green

 

 

 

 

4.       Last week, former Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green took some time out in marvelous Mauritius. And according to her recent IG stories, the doctor returned safely from her trip and is even reporting for duty. Thank heavens!

 

5.       DJ Shimza

 

 

When news of the coronavirus hitting local shores surfaced, DJ Shimza posted a picture of himself in a private jet and indicated that that was the way he was going to be travelling as he couldn’t risk catching the virus. And although, we don’t know where he was heading, all we can say is: LEVELS!

 

6.       Black Coffee

 

 

 

The DJ recently turned 44 and to celebrate, he headed to the city of Bali in Indonesia. He posted a picture of himself wearing a mask and also revealed the cities he’d be heading to.
