Johannesburg - Mariah Carey is enjoying a well-deserved vacation after yet another busy year, but the diva had an unwelcomed visitor as she and her family enjoyed some fun in the sun on a private yacht.

The singer, who is on a break from her Las Vegas residency, was on a yacht alongside twins, Monroe and Moroccan (7) and boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, when a shark swam a little too close to them.

In a video posted to her Instagram, the Hero hitmaker can be heard saying: “Okay, this is not okay. I know it’s a shark and I’m not supposed to be scared, but I’m scared. I’m upset.”

Thankfully for Mariah, the shark swam away from the yacht as the group continued to enjoy the vacation.

Mariah, who is due to resume her residency at the end of August, has been posting various vacay pictures on social media.
