Music producer Mobi Dixon is finally back at work following a month of silence after the sudden death of singer Nichume Siwundla.
Taking to his Instagram page, Mobi explained that he was advised by his family and doctor to take a break. “For the past month my family and my doctor have been strongly advising me take time off and reflect. Got time to re-evaluate a lot about life and relationships. I’m glad to be back at work today and on the verge of concluding the biggest deal of my career,” he wrote.
After Nichume’s death, the DJ and his record label Top Chap Media were blamed for her suicide. A popular Twitter account made claims that Top Chap Media had not been making monthly payments to Nichume that were initially agreed upon when she joined the company.

Following the accusations, Top Chap Media said the following:"We are aware and deeply saddened by the allegations against Top Chap Media and our CEO Mobi Dixon by Nichume's family. We will respect the wishes of the family and refrain from making any further statements or comments about Nichume."
Mobi Dixon was then severely attacked on social media by fans of the deceased artist which lead to his break. According to Mobi, he had to cancel performances and studio sessions that were booked because of the incident.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to fans and promoters for all the shows I’ve had to cancel and for all the studio sessions and meetings I’ve had to postpone. Hopefully, my doctor will allow me to get back to work soon.”
In his most recent post, the DJ teased an special announcement that he would make on 25 July 2019.
