The Trending SA show host detailed the story on how his mother met Thuso Mbedu at the after funeral service of his best friend Akhumzi Jezile.

“I see Thuso, and I'm like, 'Hey babe whats up?'...but I had just left my parents. So now as they come around my mom says, ‘is this her?’ laughs Musa as he continues to share that moment.
“She’s [Musa’s mother] like her sisters called her and asked her how could I not invite them to the lobola negotiations… and I was like excuse me what?” exclaimed the YoTv teen star.
“So, she then took it upon herself to go up to Thuso…they have a discussion about lord knows what. And then she comes back and she says to me ‘Hayi Musa do your thing,’”
Musa concluded the interview by setting the record straight that he and the Isithunzi actress had been good friends for a while.
Earlier this year Musa sent sparks flying on Twitter when he shared photos of himself and Thuso at the 2018 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA's).
