Actress Natasha Thahane recently celebrated a very special day when she graduated from the New York Film Academy. Veteran actor John Kani and his son, Atandwa Kani (both soon to be seen on the big screen in Black Panther), were among some of the guests who attended her graduation ceremony in New York.

When DRUM asked about her time in The Big Apple, the bubbly 22-year-old said the experience was a great one. “New York was great. It was a bit of a culture shock here and there but it’s always good to come out of your shell and meet new people and learn different things,” she said.

Although the actress is back in Mzansi, she did hint that she had plans to return to New York soon. “I can’t really get into the details but all I’m going to say is that it is not the end of New York for me,” she teased.

About returning to the role of Amo Maake on Mzansi Magic’s hit series The Queen, Natasha said she would definitely be back on our TV screens soon but couldn’t say on which show yet.

And not only is the young actress’ career booming, she seems to be happily in love too. Confirming that the sexy gentleman all over her Insta feed was indeed her boyfriend, Natasha explained how he stole her heart. “I found him at a time when I wasn’t even looking for love, but I’m very happy,” a blushing Natasha giggled.

2018 seems to be going Natasha’s way and we are excited to see what she has in store for us.
