Cape Town - Amidst investigations surrounding late US rapper, Nipsey Hussle’s ties to gang members and gang activity , his wife Lauren London has reportedly filed for sole guardianship for Nipsey’s two-year-old son, Kross Asghedo, who is set to inherit R13 million from his estate.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the actress revealed how she was already looking after the two-year-old and wants to look out for his “best interests” legally by participating in legal matters involving Nipsey's estate, on behalf of the child as he receives the inheritance.

Speaking to Hot New Hip Hop, Lauren London’s management asked for privacy regarding the matter.

“This is a private matter and Lauren has not and will not make any statements.  We asked that everyone respect their need for privacy. Thank you.”

Nipsey Hussle died in March after being shot outside his Marathon clothing store.
