Nomzamo Mbatha’s journey to stardom has been an inspirational one.
She has worn many hats so far, from presenting and acting, to being an humanitarian and most importantly being a voice for so many voiceless Africans.
It’s no wonder this young woman is a huge fan. After meeting her biggest inspiration, Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls pupil, Tshireletso Matsogo took to Twitter to share her excitement.
Tshireletso posted a video of herself giving Nomzamo a letter, and them sharing warm hugs and laughs.
The 15-year-old captioned the post:
“@NomzamoMbatha God knows how long I had waited for this moment, the moment when I could finally tell you, face to face, how much you inspire me. Your beauty blew me away, but more importantly your heart. Thank you 4 ur kind words, Thank u for YOU Sis Nomzamo, My Role Model.”
Nomzamo was quick to respond to her young fan, not only thanking her for the beautiful letter that made her cry, but also commending her for being an amazing young woman with depth.
“Tshireletso, I read your letter, halfway through I couldn’t hold back the fountain of tears and my heart breaking and coming back all together again. Thank you. For your bravery. For your love. I know I will see you again soon. Your depth, girl... your depth will take you far.”
