PICS: AKA brings home Nickelodeon award – with DJ Zinhle by his side | Drum

AKA recently made fans proud by winning a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award under the Favourite South African Star category in Los Angeles, USA this weekend.

The self-proclaimed ‘Supa Mega’, who was nominated alongside Nomzamo Mbatha, Siya Kolisi, Kagiso Rabada and Somizi took to his Twitter page to share his excitement by posting pictures of himself holding the gong and thanking fans for voting for him.

“It gives me great pride to accept this @nickelodeon KIDS CHOICE AWARD on behalf of my daughter and all of the MEGACY Thank You so much for all the votes ...So amazing to have the young ones rocking with me as their #1 after 10 + years in the game. From AFRICA TO THE world,” he wrote.

Although many were excited over his achievement, others couldn’t help but notice that the rapper was in Los Angeles with DJ Zinhle and they seemed to be having quite a lot of fun together.

Just a week ago, fans were unimpressed with the pair after a picture of them sharing a kiss went viral, convincing everyone that they were back together.

Although the two have been mum on the rumours of them being together again, it seems that DJ Zinhle was fed up with the criticism and sent a very sharp message to trolls on Sunday night.

“We all want and wish for different things in life. You want marriage, I want a flat stomach. Now stop making me feel like an ass for not living your dream..,” she wrote on her Twitter page.
