R Kelly’s first wife Andrea Kelly is suing the producers of the upcoming Surviving R Kelly documentary sequel for the use of images she did not consent to.

The dancer and actress is not pleased with the release of the first official trailer by the producers. According to People, the teaser “uses some footage from the first season – because she was not involved in the latest project.”

A representative for Drea issued a statement to TMZ, stating, “She has no involvement, did not approve any footage or stills of her likeness and is not actively promoting, nor consulting (on) the follow-up series.”

Andrea has since declined to take part in anything related to the sequel as she is unhappy with the way network executives handled the issues following the first Surviving R Kelly documentary, including the lack of support for the women interviewed onscreen.
