“Although I’ve gained a bit of weight, the lockdown has been somewhat good for me. I got to do the things that I usually never have time to do. I tried new recipes; I even found myself baking. I had time to read more and watch all the TV programs that revived my love for production,” she adds.
But the best thing about this lockdown was her having time to connect with herself. “I love spending time alone to reflect on life. But I’ve learned to be a little kinder to myself,” she says. “I realised I’m a good writer. I was never big on writing but during the lockdown, I kept a journal for my thoughts”.
“Before I always put down my thoughts by voice recording, but I have been writing a lot lately.”
Lejoy is currently shooting a TV show airing after lockdown. “I can’t say much about it but it’s a big surprise.”
