Gqom music duo Destruction Boyz and Suited hit maker Shekhinah will soon be representing South Africa at the MTV European Music Awards after scoring a nomination in the best African act category.
Shekhinah – who was recently rated the most listened to female artist on Spotify SA alongside Gqom evolutionists Thobani “Que” Mgobhozi and Zipho “Goldmax” Mthembu, are the only South African artists nominated for the EMA’s which will be held in Bilboa, Spain this November.
The pair even sent congratulations shout out tweets to each other, “Congratulations,” tweeted the Destruction Boys in a mention to Shekhinah to which she responded, “Congratulations Boyz”
