Tshepi Vundla opens up about abusive relationship with Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane | Drum

Brand influencer Tshepi Vundla revealed that she was in an abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend, popular chef Tebello Motsoane.

Tshepi finally broke her silence after she named and shamed her ex-bae who allegedly physically abused her. This comes after Twitter user Sfiso Mthethwa confessed to being a coward while his friend abused his now-ex-girlfriend, without revealing the names.

“This week I called the now ex-girlfriend because WOW I was struggling with that guilt. I told her I'm sorry I kept quiet when I could have said something all those years ago. She really could have been killed because of our cowardly behaviour [sic],” he tweeted.

This is when 27-year-old Tshepi revealed Tibz’s name, and fans applauded her for her courage.

Coming to his own defense, Tibz denied ever physically assaulting the stylist but admitted to emotionally and mentally abusing her. He also said that Tshepi was the one who used to hit him instead.

"For years I was in a toxic and public relationship with Tshepi Vundla. In this relationship, I know realize that I was abusive... but never ever physically. Through my disrespect, I hurt her many times and that is emotional and mental abuse," he wrote in a thread.

"Because of the climate in the country, I didn’t want to do this and whether or not it makes me look weak, I’m ready to state that Tshepi Vundla used to physically abuse me. I’ve been slapped, scratched, pushed, sworn at and had my mother sworn at. Never have I retaliated," he continued.
