In 2015, Riky Rick asked, “Usabani usemasabhabsini? [What are you afraid of while in the suburbs?]” in his hit song Boss Zonke, and recently Dineo Ranaka answered him.
In a hilarious rant on Instagram, the reality TV star went on to give her answer.

“I’d like to greet everyone with the utmost respect. My answer to Riky’s question is: I’m afraid because in the suburbs we don’t have bones [the bones from beef meat often used to make stews], we don’t have tripe and we don’t have cow/sheep feet or kotas [bunny chows],” she said.
“Riky, it’s getting tougher and tougher being a black person living in a suburb. My fear is intensifying. All I see are prawns, sushi, burgers, pizzas and crabs. The Russian rolls and achar this side don’t slap the same as they do in townships, and, in the mornings, the air isn’t filled with the beautiful scent of the fat cakes. My goodness, we as black people will die of hunger, I’m afraid, Riky.”
