Cape Town - Talk show host Wendy Williams has revealed that her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Hunter would keep her away from business deals during their marriage.
According to a video obtained by The Blast at the Black Enterprise’s FWD Conference for entrepreneurs in North Carolina, the 54-year-old said that “Kev and the team would show up (to business meetings)and wouldn't tell me until he knew the deal was done.”
But according to the talk show host, all of that is over and she is now involved in all of her business affairs, especially since she fired Hunter as her manager.
“You’ve got to be at the ground floor of your operation. I don’t care how big you get,” she said in the video.
“You better show up, be on time, dress appropriately, and don’t just rely on your team to bring back the information because you’re such a big shot and you don’t have to be there,” she told the audience.
Wendy who recently filed for divorce from her husband after his cheating scandal, also went on to give the female audience members some advice about focusing on building their careers in their 20s by pausing their love lives.
Since her split from her husband, Wendy claimed to have been working through her divorce ‘pleasantly’ but found herself in the middle of drama after her son got arrested for punching his father.
