Cape Town - Willow Smith has revealed that her father Will is relieved that she is not curvy because it means men will want to focus more on her brain rather than her body.

The 17-year-old singer and actor made the confession in the latest episode of her mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Facebook live show, Red Table Talk, which also features her grandmother Adrienne Banfield Norris.

Speaking on her body issues, Willow said, "I, in my own life struggled with, curvier women and curvier girls have always gotten more attention from the boys that I've liked and have ended up dating the boys that I've liked.”

"That constantly happening and me, you know, being their friend but not really seeing them look at me in a certain way...then you start to wonder, 'Dang am I just not desirable? Is my body just not what society likes?' So it does just get really hard for a lot of girls."

However, it was Will who would put her insecurities into perspective for her. “He said, “guys will look at your brain more if you're not curvier,” and that kind of just solidified all of my experience.”

Jada also shared her insecurities when it came to being scrawny when she was younger.

“I used to hate wearing shorts. I used to think my legs were so skinny. I remember my mom going: "Jada, you have beautiful legs, and then I hear myself telling Willow the same thing: "Willow, you've got beautiful legs.”
