Speaking to Move! Danger says he was eager to perform on stage with his former band mate, especially considering that it would have marked a Big Nuz comeback, even though the group currently only has two members left, he had no control over what occurred.
“I really did want to perform but unfortunately we arrived late for our set so there was nothing that could be done because other artists had already been performing, all three of us arrived late at the event.”
According to an article written by another publication Mampintsha arrived late for his set and demanded to be put in other acts’ time slots. Once this request wasn't granted, he ditched the show altogether, even though he still had to perform with Danger.
Danger claims this is false because on the stage line up the Big Nuz was supposed to perform before Babes Wodumo’s set.
Organizer of Fact Durban Rocks, DJ Tira confirmed to Move! that the trio did indeed arrive late, and they could no longer perform as they were booked else where and had to leave.
