A massive goodbye to #zanele i couldn’t stop crying while shooting this scene I’ve worked with giants that have impacted and carved my life in ways I can’t even express @charlespasha @abdul_khoza @rulerofself @menzingubanesa @linda_sebezo @linda_mtoba @siyabongathwala_fanpage @ayandaborotho @mamphob @pallancedladla @sdumo.mtshali @nomzamo_m @jessicankosi @zakhele.mabasa @masterqsa just to name a few, thank you all for the experience. This lady was never ready for this journey but I’ve grown so much from the experience. Blessings and love is all I’ve carry.. immense love to @zwabheka for never giving up on me and my talent even when I didn’t see it?? @isibayamzansi it’s been an amazing journey #isibaya goodbye and stay blessed

Sadly this is the last time viewers will get to see Busisiwe’s character. Abdul took some time to acknowledge his fellow actor for her talent and great working relationship. He expressed his gratitude for having the honour of working alongside Busisiwe in a lengthy post on his Instagram page. He went as far as to recognise her contribution in his successful acting career.

“I just want to tell you how amazing it has been to share this long journey with you #mazet. You brought your best foot forward when you were summoned to be the fire you became on @isibayamzansi. I WON a whole SAFTA this year through the hard work you and I shared on screen. We pushed each other to perform our very own stunts, we fell and rose through it all. For those who didn’t know this beautiful soul was just a model before she was thrown in the deep end to play the amazing #zanele on Isibaya...that alone should tell you how brilliant she is. @j_sibu2.0 you are going places and with the kind of energy you bring, no one can ever resist your greatness. I look forward to witnessing and celebrating your new chapter...LONG LIVE #mazet,” read the Instagram post.
