Cape Town - Local rapper and TV presenter, Nomuzi Mabena started off her year a good note if you ask us!
The 27-year-old spent almost a month in intentional communion with God; fasting and praying for a great year and many other desires she has.
Taking to Instagram to share some of the things she learned on this spiritual journey, Moozlie encouraged her one million followers to pray and ask God for all the things they'd like to achieve this year – and not only prepare for those blessing, but also start celebrating.
"Day 21 / 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. OBEDIENCE & COMMITMENT. It wasn't easy but He is faithful. I feel so grateful & so highly favoured. This is always a time of alignment for me at the beginning of every year where I just pray God does what He needs to do to prepare me for what’s to come. As of today, I start celebrating the victories He has in store for us. Just posting this to let you know that you should start celebrating too. If you know us or work with us, you’re about to be blessed by association. If you try to stop us you will fail, so don’t bother! (sic)" she wrote.
Moozlie's spirituality and love for God doesn’t come as a surprise, just a few years ago when she was named the Best Female Rapper at the SA Hip Hop Awards after the release of her album, Victory, she gave God all the credit in an interview with True Love.
“I’ve really been blessed with in both my business and personal life. One thing that stands out is my album Victory. God really came through for me on that one and I’m so grateful,” she said.
