Muvhango actor Dingaan Mokebe kaKhumalo is lost for words looking for answers that will help address the recent killings of women in South Africa.

This is after the actor heard news that a man has shot and killed his two girlfriends before taking his own life last week in Sharpeville. The police are still investigating the motive.

This clearly didn’t sit well with the actor, who took to social media to ask questions about the behaviour of men in this country and how it creates an unsafe place for women.

“I woke up this morning and heard there’s a man who killed two of his girlfriends and killed himself. Why are we so violent? Why are we seeing death and killing each other as a solution? What mistake did these women do?” he asked.

Even the former Speak Out presenter couldn’t figure out the reason for such behaviour, he saw it as weak and didn’t exclude himself from it all.

“South African men, we are cowards. We, me included, I am a South African man, I'm no different, I live in South Africa. These guys are my brothers, cousins, live in our community, we know them. There is absolutely no reason why a woman should wake up and go to a post office and come back dead. We keep on claiming I’m head of the family. Yet, this head of the family is killing the same family,” he says.
