Actress Natasha Thahane lost her grandmother last week and she’s been having a hard time coping with the loss.Taking to her Instagram page The Queen actress shared that she’s having a tough time coping.
“It’s been an extremely tough week for our family. On the 23rd of July 2019, we lost our Queen. Bestie. Ninja! I never thought my heart could hurt this much. I’m honestly not copying. We love you always,” she wrote.
“You’ve been the woman I’ve looked to for strength. Thank you for all your prayers, wisdom & humor. I also celebrate all the moments I was blessed to spend with you. The love you had for us helps me find comfort & healing. Ndiyabulela Ma’Khulu. We love you,” she added.
The 23-year-old, who is also the granddaughter of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, did not go into detail about what lead to her grandmother’s death but she did share pictures and videos of them together.
From singing together at home to road trips – Natasha seems to have shared a special bond with her late grandmother.
Condolences also poured in from her industry peers such as Gail Mabelane, Winnie Ntshaba and Simz Ngema.
