Let’s forget about fighting now. Let’s go back to watching soccer together, music and forget because the fight is over.

Veteran musician-turned-reality star Papa Penny is calling on all South Africans to unite after the general elections.

The star who got into a public spat with Economic Freedom Fighter’s leader Julius Malema in the build to the elections is ready to bury the hatched.

In a video, the Tsonga musician said it’s time to go back to being friends now that the elections are over. “The game is over now. Let’s go back to our friendships. Let’s go back to being family. Let’s forget about fighting now. Let’s go back to watching soccer together, music and forget because the fight is over,” he said.

The fight with Julius started when Julius made mention of Papa Penny that he’s uneducated during a rally speech in Tzaneen. Being not one to shy away from controversy, Papa Penny didn’t take kindly to that and lashed back at Julius in a now deleted video.

However, now that’s all in the past and the reality star will let bygones be bygones.
