Cape Town - TV personality Boity Thulo recently received her certificate as a Forbes Africa 30 under 30 alumni and she couldn’t be happier.

The rapper who was named a recipient earlier this month is being honoured by the magazine as one of the most influential creatives in Africa and it’s not surprising why.

Since she shot into the limelight after she appeared in a famous ad for Wimpy, Boity has acted in the series Rockville and popular movie Mr Right Guy. As if that wasn’t enough she launched her rap career in 2018 with her hit song Wuz Dat featuring Nasty C.

She has also presented a number of TV shows throughout her career so far such as: Big Brother Africa, the 19th annual SAMAs, and Reality Check.

Taking to her Instagram page the 29-year-old showed off her certificate and captioned it: "I’m framing this!"

Other local artists to join her on the list are actress Thando Thabethe, Illustrator Karabo Poppy and stylist Trevor Stuurman. See the list of others who made the list.
