Turning 30 is a huge milestone, and it’s celebrated in many ways by people across the globe. Others throw big parties, others buy themselves the luxury items they’ve always dreamed of, and others choose to travel the world and experience different cultures.
One such person is Rhythm City actress, Samkelo Ndlovu. Samkelo turns 30 on 31 December 2019, and to celebrate her milestone, she decided to go on a solo trip to Italy. While others often hesitate to travel alone, the mother-of-one shared how important this solo trip is for her.

Taking to her Instagram page, Samkelo posted pictures of herself wearing warm black skinny jeans and a red cape with a matching beret, and of course, her signature funky heels while standing along the watery streets of Italy.
In a video, Samkelo can be seen having a glass of the famous Italian sparkling wine, Prosecco – because where else can you have the best but where it originated!
“Turning 30 on the 31st of December. So I went in a solo trip to Italy so I can be alone in a foreign place and process my shit. So I can peacefully leave my 20’s behind and return anew. #DirtyThirtySoloTrip #Italy,” one of her captions read.
