Media personality Bonang Matheba might not be lucky in the love department but she still has love for South African men.

The globetrotter recently revealed what she likes about dating local men. In an interview on gossip show Real Goboza, she confirmed that she’s dated foreign men before.

“South African men are nice. I find them very kind. They’re not very hostile and domineering. That’s the side I love about SA men,” she said.

However, before you try your luck on her, you better know your financial lane because she doesn’t want someone whose ego will be bruised by her success.

She says she wants a man who make equal or more than she does. But money is not the only thing she wants from a man. “You have to be kind and very peaceful,” she said.

Bonang made it clear that she’s not about to walk down the aisle anytime soon. She refuses to make sacrifices before she’s done everything she wants to do. Marriage will happen once that’s done.

“I wanted to complete my career. I wanted to do everything I wanted to do. I wanted to start my own business, create my own money, have my own house and buy my own car, take myself on holiday. Do everything I wanna do and be satisfied. Getting into a marriage you have to sacrifice and be selfless. Take into cognisance your husband and children. So you can’t necessarily do what you want because you’re building a family. It [marriage] will happen. I’m not yet finish with everything I want to do. I still wanna party,” she said.

Speaking to Channel24 in March, Bonang confirmed that she was in a relationship saying: "I've taken great care in managing my personal life and keeping it out of my business and my brand since I left my ex. That is how I like it to be, and I'm happy, and therefore life is good."

When pressed further on the matter she said: "Uhm, let me say yes. Yes, yes [I am in a relationship]."
