Johannesburg – No plans on the 14th of the December? Why not snuggle up on your couch and tune into the Miss World pageant?

The competition is set to take place in London this year, with Sasha-Lee Olivier representing South Africa.

Local viewers who want to watch the pageant can tune into SABC 3 on 14 December between 15:00 and 18:00.

South Africa last brought home the Miss World crown in 2014 with Rolene Strauss and are hoping for another win this year with Sasha-Lee.

The beauty queen, who has been a"hot pick" with many local and international fans, recently revealed her Beauty with Purpose project for the competition which aims to focus on helping survivors of sexual assault.
