Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere arrived and Cape Town earlier this week, and her first outing was a trip to Camps Bay.
The former Miss France shared a snippet from the restaurant strip on her Instagram Stories, before sharing a photo of herself sunbathing on the beautiful beach.
Iris, who has been romantically linked to serial entrepreneur Diego El Glaoui, also shared a photo of the name "Diego," written in the sand, along with the caption: "I miss you."
"I just felt happy," she wrote in the caption of a photo of herself wearing a tiny swimsuit. "Just arrived and my first point was to find the sun on the beach," she added, in French.
She also documented a trip to the V&A Waterfront on the photo-sharing app. On Wednesday, she indicated that she is "shooting."
"Little break due to rain," she wrote in another, leading us to believe that the 27-year-old is in the Mother City for work, and not a vacation.
Iris has a surprising connection to South Africa as she crowned Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in 2017 in Las Vegas.
