Cape Town - Santwana B Simran, who comes from a humble background in Odisha,  has won the Miss India International Miss Photogenic title in Jakarta.

It's the first honour for the Korkutoua Desia community, who are mostly illiterate and without electricity.

Her family couldn't afford to fly her to Indonesia, so members of her community came forward to help.
