Actress Thembi Mtshali-Jones honoured with Living Legends award at US festival

Johannesburg – President Cyril Ramaphosa praised veteran actress Thembi Mtshali-Jones on Tuesday after word spread that she was to be honoured with a 'Living Legends' award in the US. 

The honour is being bestowed upon Thembi at the National Black Theatre Festival in North Carolina. 

"She's being recognized for her extraordinary talent & lifelong contribution to the arts," the tweet went on to say. 

Thembi has been sharing many pictures while in the US on her Instagram account, including a photo with herself and legendary actor Bill Cobbs, as well as Tony award-winner André De Shields.
