Amanda Black leaves Ambitious Entertainment

Cape Ton - Award-winning musician, Amanda Black has parted ways with record label Ambitious Entertainment after failing to reach an agreement on certain terms.

Amanda is the label’s first afro-pop artists since its inception in 2015 and has become the fourth artist to leave the group after Fifi Cooper, A-Reece and Benchmarq.

The Amazulu singer is now with a new team that she hopes will help grow her brand.

“I am very grateful for Ambitiouz Entertainment and how far we have come. I am embarking on a new journey and I needed a team that would work with me in realizing the plans and dreams I have for my career going forward,” she said in a statement.

“The new management looks after my bookings, brand and publicity as well as assisting me reach wider audiences in Africa and beyond.”

The former Idols SA contestant is now working on a number of projects including a partnership with the South African National Blood Services that has resulted in a song titled Gaz Lam with Vusi Nova and aims to raise awareness for blood donations.
